HONE EVENTS IS a 5th generation Townsville family, who are community focused with a penchant for pop culture & event management. At hone events we want to establish an ongoing, sustainable, family friendly pop culture convention for all age groups; the Townsville Pop Fest! An event showcasing all things cosplay, comics, collectables, anime movies and gaming.

The hone family who comprise ‘hone events’ have been cosplaying as a family together for the past 10 years and continue to find excitment and passion from the amazing pop culture community in townsville, qld.

Townsville Pop Fest will be the new home for pop culture in Townsville, working alongside other regional conventions, hone events wish to bring some of the big town convention activities to regional Queensland.

townsville pop fest will be a place for fans of all things pop culture, comics, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, nostalgia and literature along with those that love to dress up in their favourite characters cosplays to come together to celebrate the nerd and geek in all of use.

Hone Events wants to give local artists, creators and aspiring talents a platform to showcase their work and build a fandom along with showing some of the new innovations in technology, arts and creativity.

Hone Events also aims to bring some of your favourite stars to Townsville from Comic book artists, Cosplayers and Authors!
